The Service Selection Board (SSB), set up by the Ministry of defence, undertakes the SSB Interview to evaluate prospective candidates for recruitment in the Army, Navy and Air Force.

The Services Selection Board (SSB) is an organization that selects applicants for Indian Armed Forces officers. The Board determines the candidate's ability to become an officer by way of a structured evaluation program process consisting of personality assessments and interviews. The tests are written and practical for all forms of tasks.

The SSB requires a group of examiners, who have an official experience as a psychologist, GTO (Group Task Officer) or interviewing officer in the Indian Military. There are 13 Military evaluation boards throughout India, four for the Indian Army, four for the Indian Air Force and five for the Indian Navy. SSB is an evaluation process lasting 5-6 days.
